The Hedgehog Habitat

The  Hedgehog Habitat is primarily designed for the safe feeding and nesting of hedgehogs.
 
A Hedgehog House can either be a feeding station or a nesting box, but it should never be both.
 
By virtue of the house's internal tunnel design, it stops hedgehogs from being attacked and hedgehog food from being stolen by cats and dogs.
 
Constructed from FSC certified timber and the pitched roof has been covered with roofing felt. The roof is double skinned for insulation and weather protection, whilst the raised timber floor keeps damp out. 
 
Remember, hedgehogs are wild creatures; hedgehog houses should be situated in a cool shady spot, and can be covered over the winter for extra insulation. We recommend that houses are only checked and maintained annually;  late spring / early summer is best.
